Join the Potomac Rose Society Members for this special opportunity to view the insects in the Katherine Dulin Folger Rose Garden, under the guidance of former Smithsonian Plant Health Specialist, Dr. Holly Walker. Magnifying hand lenses will be provided, and you will learn to identify the beneficial insects as well as the troublemakers!  This program is a follow-up session to Dr. Walker’s very popular April 2021 presentation to PRS, Encouraging Plant Health (now Available in our Members-Only Video Library).

In addition to viewing the insects, we will also have a private tour of the Kathrine Dulin Folger Rose Garden, led by Smithsonian Horticulturist and PRS President, Shelley Gaskins.

Dr. Holly Walker is a professional biologist with a strong background in entomology and plant health issues, and over 15 years of field and laboratory experience.  She is currently Chesapeake Bay Watershed Coordinator/Environmental Scientist for the state of Delaware.

Participation is limited for this members-only event, so REGISTER NOW!
